We are under contract to purchase our first ever permanent church building! We have bought the former Mechanicsville Presbyterian Church located at 7339 Atlee Road.
What does this mean?
Our current location on Parham Road in Henrico is leased space where our active lease goes through 2026. The lease and future on Parham Road is unstable given the uncertainty of the building complex.
In 2024, we purchased ten acres of land on Route 301 directly across from Hanover High School. We plan to build a church facility on this land in the future.
The purchase of the church on Atlee Road will serve as a bridge between us getting out of our Parham Rd location & when we are able to build a church on the land on Route 301.
After we build on Route 301, this church facility on Atlee Rd will continue to be utilized greatly for ministry and outreach to the surrounding community.
What's Next?
The church on Atlee Road will need minor renovations done in order for it to be ready for effective ministry. We plan on getting started on the work this summer to have the building ready as soon as possible. We are praising God for going before us and making a way for our church!
